With over 40 classes in our schedule for ages 2 to adult, recreational and pre-professional dancers alike will be sure to find what they need. With two studios and numerous professional and caring instructors we offer the most choices. And we are adding new classes all the time!
We are committed to providing a positive environment for our dancers to train. We are honored to have the opportunity to impact our students lives in a profound way each and every class and believe we have a responsibility to teach them lessons that go beyond the dance studio and into to their everyday life. Our Studios
Our 7th street location at the corner of 7th and Teller sits at the edge of Grand Junction's beautiful historic 7th Street neighborhood. This location features two dance studios, a music room, customer service desk, a selection of dancewear, observation windows, and a comfortable waiting area with a play area for siblings along with a 37" lcd monitor to watch your dancer in class without disruptions. The dance studios feature floor-to-ceiling mirrors as well as sprung dance floors and marley dance flooring for injury prevention.
Our Programs
Academy of Dance offers a wide variety of classes for our students to find the best fit for them. All classes are age-appropriate and provide a solid classical basis for our dancers. Specialized preschool classes make dancing an adventure for our littlest dancers. School-age dancers can choose from a range of classes from classical, pre-professional, and competition and performance groups, to recreational classes for dancers with little or no experience who just want to dance for fun.
Our growing Music Theatre program provides our performers with the highest-quality instruction and pre-professional performance experience in a fun and structured environment. Students will improve their skills in acting, improvisation, singing, and movement. Private voise lessons are available.
